# addon-checkbox

> Checkbox that adds the nested product as an add-on. The fields of every add-on widget can carry any Name. From mount they are named ##ignore-addon, which stays out of the cart line. Once the nested product loads, the checkbox becomes #addon|variantId|type|title|price, the quantity #quantity|variantId and the select #addon|SELECT|… (2.0).

## Where it can go

- **Inside** `smootify-add-to-cart smootify-product`. A selector with a space is a chain: `a b` is `b` inside `a`.
- **Not inside** an element with `hidden` at boot: it does not mount.
- **Must contain** `input[type="checkbox"]`.
- **Out of place,** Smootify removes it from the page.

## What it requires

Nothing beyond Smootify: it works on every plan.

## Attributes on the element

- **It reads** `quantity`, `id`.

## Loading

Its code loads only on pages that have `addon-checkbox`.
