Who pays for Smootify?
The client, through Shopify. Smootify is a Shopify app, so Lite $19 or Server $49 a month lands on the store’s Shopify invoice with the other apps. You have nothing to rebill, and the client pays one app instead of ten. Webflow bills its site plan directly. See pricing.
Which Shopify plan does the client need?
Basic, Grow or Advanced all work. The Server plan runs draft orders, metaobject writes and file uploads on our server, so Plus is not required for them. Plus still has things we do not replace, such as forcing a price inside the real checkout.
Can the client change the store without us?
Products, prices, stock, markets and many product options are edited in Shopify and reach the site on their own. Layout and design changes stay in Webflow, with you.
We have clients on Smootify 1.x. What happens to them?
Their stores keep working. 2.0 is in public beta, and moving to it is your choice, with a migration guide that lists what changes on the site.
