configurator-popover is the preferred form. configurator-dropdown works the same in the generic build: it reads the [popover] it holds like configurator-popover, with the same attributes, and removes itself only when there is no [popover] with an option link or button.

Where it can go

Inside smootify-add-to-cart.
Must contain select, [popover] :is(a, button:not([popovertarget])).
Out of place, Smootify removes it from the page: also when the add-to-cart has no smootify-product ancestor.

What it requires

The server plan: on other plans Smootify removes the element from the page.
The Product configurator extension (server plan, the extension activated in the Smootify dashboard, the licensed domain). Without it, its markup is removed from the page.

Fields in the form

Each field’s name attribute tells Smootify what the field holds.

It reads data-formula.
Smootify writes data-formula on it: do not set them yourself.
