sort-dropdown
Sort options in a popover; the trigger shows the current sort (the site's text until the visitor sorts), a pick closes it: the same as sort-popover, the preferred form.
Note
sort-popover is the preferred form. sort-dropdown works the same in the generic build: it reads the [popover] it holds like sort-popover, with the same attributes, and removes itself only when there is no [popover] with an option link or button.
Where it can go
- Inside
smootify-search-discovery. - Must contain
form,[popover] :is(a, button:not([popovertarget])). - Out of place, Smootify removes it from the page: data-expand panels count as inside.
What it requires
- The Search & discovery extension (lite or server plan, or the extension activated in the Smootify dashboard). Without it, the element does nothing.
Fields in the form
It reads no field of yours: reads no name of yours: Smootify names the field sort.
Attributes on the element
- It reads
selected-value.
Loading
Its code loads only on pages that have sort-dropdown.
