Smootify does not add Shopify's banner; build smootify-consent in a component every page uses, even if you do not sell in Europe.
The symptom. Analytics never track anyone in Europe, or a site has no consent banner at all.
Why. Smootify 2.0 shows the banner you design. Without one, visitors who must give consent never can, and the pixels that wait for it never load.
The fix. Build the banner with a smootify-consent element, in a component every page uses, such as the footer. It shows only to visitors of the regions where Shopify says consent is needed, and stays hidden for everyone else.
