A Webflow and Shopify store for a social impact label
Storytelling and eco merch for refugee causes: a Webflow campaign site with a Shopify shop connected through Smootify, easy for the team to update.
Built by Jesse Nieuwenhuijzen. Published on Contra, July 2025.

- Webflow
- Smootify
- Shopify
- Webflow CMS
- Connects the Webflow site to Shopify for shop management and checkout.
- Lets the team manage products and stock alongside the campaign content.
The cause
Gelukszoekers pushes back on xenophobic rhetoric by selling sustainably made t-shirts, sweaters and accessories with the “Gelukszoeker” label. Sales raise awareness and donations for refugee causes.

The challenge
The site had to show clear support for refugees and shift public perception, sell eco-friendly merchandise to raise funds, combine storytelling with a smooth and secure shop, and stay easy for the team to update.

The build
Jesse led the Webflow development and the Shopify storefront integration with Smootify, working with We Met Before and Wondr Agency, who handled strategy, design and project management.
The result is a fully responsive Webflow front end shaped around the campaign story, Shopify for the shop and checkout, the CMS for content, products and stock, and a clean structure ready for the next campaigns.
