2.0 Beta

Smootify 2.0 is in public beta. Your 1.x store keeps working. Move when you want.

What changed
smootify-custom-script/SKILL.md

Custom script skill.

Writes and changes the custom scripts of a Smootify site: how a script starts, the events, the filters and the API, and how it is built and put on the site.

Load it in a script folder, or for any code on a Smootify site that calls window.Smootify. Smootify Studio loads it for you when you write a script with Claude. Beta: version 2.0.0-beta.27.

What it does
  • Reads the site’s notes, the script so far and smootify.d.ts before writing
  • Builds only on the public API: window.Smootify, its events and its filters
  • Asks one question when what the script should do is unclear
  • Writes the script in TypeScript and builds it into one small module
  • Says what the site needs: the markup the script reads and where the script goes
What it does not do
  • Use Smootify’s internals
  • Edit smootify.d.ts
  • Publish the site

Install it in your agent.
