Webflow's Button element publishes a link, so attributes that need a real button, such as data-action, need a Custom element with the tag button.
The symptom. You added data-action to a Webflow Button, and clicking it does nothing.
Why. In the published page, Webflow’s Button element is a link (a), and a Form Button is an input. Smootify’s actions need the real button tag.
The fix. Add a Custom element from the Add panel, set its tag to button in the element settings, and put the custom attributes on it.
