Confirm the slots booked with Smootify
When an order is placed, Shopify Flow confirms the time slots it holds and saves each booking with the order and the customer.

What you need, and how to install it.
- Shopify Flow, free in Shopify
- Plan: Server Server plan with the Booking add-on turned on in the Smootify dashboard. The action runs on every Shopify plan, Basic included.
- Add-on: Booking
- Element:

- Install Shopify Flow from the Shopify App Store. It is free in Shopify, but it is a separate app.
- Switch on the Booking add-on in the Smootify dashboard.
- Place the Smootify element in Webflow:
booking-calendarin a product’s add to cart (a paid appointment) or in the cart (a pickup or delivery window). - In Shopify Flow, open Templates, search for Smootify and install this template. It reads the order for you: there is nothing to map.
- Turn it on the day the calendar goes live, together with “Give back the slots of a cancelled order”.
- Test it once with a real submission or order, then turn the flow on.
Where people get stuck.

Without it no order confirms its slots: the holds run out, the places come back free and the same slot can be sold again.

A payment slower than the hold can find its slot taken: the booking is saved as a conflict and the “Smootify booking conflict” trigger starts. Add a workflow on that trigger to warn your staff, who move the booking or refund the order.

Flow can run a workflow twice: the action does not confirm a slot twice.
Install the template.
This workflow comes with the Smootify app: in Shopify Flow, open Templates and search for Smootify. It uses the app’s own action, so it is installed as a template rather than imported.
