A place where the store keeps stock and fulfills orders, such as a warehouse or a shop; stock is counted per location, and a location can offer local pickup.
A location is any place that holds stock: a warehouse, a shop, a fulfillment partner. You add locations under Settings › Locations.
Locations matter in three ways:
- stock is counted per location: the Sand shirt in M can be 4 in the warehouse and 2 in the shop;
- orders are fulfilled from a location, which loses the stock;
- a location can offer local pickup, turned on under Settings › Shipping and delivery: the customer picks pickup at checkout and collects the order there.
In Webflow terms
Your shops can be a Webflow CMS collection for their pages, but their stock and pickup come from the Shopify locations.
