Run the campaign on your own store.
A launch starts before the product exists: people sign up, then back it with a deposit or the full price, and you ship months later. On a crowdfunding platform the page and the backers sit on someone else’s site. With Shopify and Smootify the campaign page is your Webflow site, and backers, orders and emails stay in your Shopify.
Shoppers sign up for a bag that is not out yet. The day it gets stock, Shopify writes to everyone on the list.

Nothing here needs Shopify Plus. Pre-orders and deposits come from a pre-order app on Shopify, which creates the selling plan and charges the rest later: Smootify sells the plan. Whether backers are charged nothing when a campaign misses its goal depends on that app, so check it before you promise all or nothing. Add-ons go only with one-time purchases, not with a pre-order plan.
