name-your-price
Lets the customer type the unit price the product is added at. 2.0: not on a gift card product (Shopify issues the card for its variant's value whatever was paid): there it removes itself, and no price source (the configurator's either) changes a gift card's price.
Where it can go
- Inside
smootify-add-to-cart. - Must contain
input[type="number"]. - Out of place, Smootify removes it from the page: also without a smootify-product ancestor, or on a gift card product.
What it requires
- The server plan: on other plans Smootify removes the element from the page.
- The Name your price extension (server plan, the extension activated in the Smootify dashboard, the licensed domain). Without it, its markup is removed from the page.
Fields in the form
Each field’s Name setting in Webflow tells Smootify what the field holds. It is a setting of the field, not a custom attribute.
| Name | Field | What it does |
|---|---|---|
the first input[type="number"] (any name) | number field | Required (removed without it). The unit price, bounded by its min / max; never a line property. |
Attributes on the element
- It reads
data-invalid-price.
